How to enjoy your Halo-Halo

Halo-halo, which means "mix-mix" in Tagalog, is a popular and refreshing Filipino dessert made of shaved ice and milk mixed with various sweet ingredients like beans, fruits, jellies, and sweetened toppings such as ube halaya (purple yam jam), leche flan (caramel custard), and sometimes ube ice cream.
